The front desk staff was so so nice and very friendly and you just felt like you were welcomed which does not always happen at strip hotels. We had a great view of the waterfalls at the Mirage and it was easy to pop out front to watch the volcano show from in front of the casino without having to cross traffic. We were upgraded at check-in to one of the one bedroom suites. Nowhere else right on the strip has free guest parking AND no resort fees! It’s not a resort so don’t expect room service or anything like that but you’re definitely missing out if you’ve not stayed there.
